HEISSNER Zeolite, 3 kg

HEISSNER Zeolite is a highly effective, purely mineral filter medium that removes harmful ammonium and ammonia from pond water through ion exchange, while also sustainably lowering phosphate levels. Its open-pore structure creates an ideal habitat for specialised, high-performance microorganisms, enhancing the ecosystem’s natural self-purification processes and helping to prevent algae growth.

As the material contains no copper additives and is completely safe for fish, even overdosing presents no risk to pond life. An additional environmental advantage is its reusability: at the end of the season, the zeolite can be regenerated and put back into use as an active pollutant filter.

Application

• Before first use, briefly rinse the zeolite with clean water to remove any stone dust
• For best results, place the zeolite in a fine-mesh net bag within one of the final filter stages of the pond filter
• 3 kg of zeolite is suitable for up to 6 m³ of pond water
• Zeolite can be regenerated at the end of the season
