ScaperLine Soil softens water and results in a slightly acidic pH value - many aquarium plants prefer such conditions. The substrate absorbs nutrients and releases them as needed - a positive cycle that continuously stimulates plant growth. Thanks to the firing process at low temperatures, the granules are robust but not too hard. A mix of grain sizes ranging from 1.5 to 3 mm makes it ideal for small, medium and larger scapes and provides the ideal support for roots. Plus there's no need to wash the substrate before use - it can be used right away and does not cause water turbidity or discolouration. Simply pour the dry substrate into the aquarium, complete your layout and enjoy!
